October 7, 2004thanks for the input is there anything else that you know about the swap that you can tell me?
October 7, 2004nope, i don't have a chevy, ifs, or a superlift/procomp lift...sorry man
October 10, 2004o well least i know now that i actually can do it i cant beleve how bad that pro comp is its unreal but in due time it will be replaced so its all good
October 11, 2004There should not be an issue with doing that swap . HOwever since most of the lifts for the Chevies that I have seen require you to cut pieces off you may be in trouble if Superlift does not require that and the part that has been cut off needs to be in place.Your best bet wouodl be to get a set of install instructions from Superlift and then get under your truck to make sure everything is correct.
October 12, 2004yeh i went to superlifts site an read the instructions the stock uper a arms need to be put back on which is minor
October 13, 2004I had a 6" Superlift on a 96 Tahoe. I hated it. The torsion bars needed to be cranked way too far to get the full 6". Be sure to ask about that. If they tell you "no" they're lying. I would stay away from Superlift. I would look into Trailmaster or Dick Cepek.
October 13, 2004yeh i know you have to crank the torsion bars up did you have much trouble with the lift from crankin them up or is that the only problem you had
October 13, 2004Check out Rancho as well...for a solid axle truck I hear RockKrawler is really good, that is what I am gonna put on my Dodge when I get some $$$.
