April 5, 2006i drive a 2005 tacoma and i was wondering are front coil spacers (2.5")hard on anything in the front-end of your truck? I've heard that it is hard on the CV joints. And i know when you buy a lift for the 2005 tacomas that they include a differential drop down in the package. Will this (drop down) fix any problems that i may have with the coil spacers? Or do i need to check or buy something? thanks

October 10, 2011You should be fine with just going up 2.5 inches. You will need to get an alighment as the geometry will have changed. If you go any higher than that you will have to think about other modifications.
