April 29, 200676 ford bronco ran great for a couple of month. first nice day with top off took it to work after work for joyride in and out of auto store,got gas,stoped at friends stoped for dinner came out and hasnt started since?? replaced volt reg, coil,and checked timing it is getting fuel and spark but will not fire??

April 30, 2006If the vehicle has points it will not have an ignition module. If it has points, try replacing the condensor in the distributor. A lot of people usually change just the points and not the condensor. If the condensor is bad the vehicle won't start. Another thing, you said the timing's correct ... How do you know it's right if the vehicle doesn't start? The thing to do would be to set the crank timing mark on zero and remove the distributor cap. The ignition rotor should be either pointing at number 1 wire or it may be 180 degrees out (pointing at the wire opposite number 1). If it's not, you may need a timing chain ......
May 4, 2006would have never checked condensor! replaced with new fired write up! cant thank you enough hard telling where i would be in that engine without your help. thanks again big frank!
